About Us
Dr. Hudson opened Sun Valley Animal Hospital in 1990 with a staff of 1 full-time and 1 part-time employee. At that time, the area had just a school and a small store!
For our first 2 years we worked on farm animals as well as pets. It wasn't uncommon to drive by and see a trailer with goats or horses in the parking lot. We are now a hospital that specializes in dogs and cats only.
We are a full-service small animal hospital, meeting the need of all ages - puppy/kitten to geriatrics. In addition to vaccinations and check-ups, we offer spays, neuters, declaws, and other general surgeries such as ureter repair and colon resections.
